Sea and You- Towards Inclusivity

Reconnecting through music, getting to know each other. These are the objectives of Sea and You- Sound ExchAnges and You, the winning project of the Crea Cultura- European Cooperation projects call. Funded by the European Commission, the programme is concerned with supporting cultural and creative sectors (both individual and collective) that share the same cultural values. The preservation and promotion of the diversity of Europe’s cultural and linguistic heritage are at the heart of the project, which aims to increase the potential and economic competitiveness of the various cultural sectors of the participating countries. To open the dances, associations that promote traditional music in their regions: Naples with the association Napulitanata, Granada and the foundation CajaGranada, and Porto with the group of artists Ideal Fado will participate in an itinerant festival. These will work together for an intercultural dialogue, hosting (and being hosted in turn) in places of great cultural importance, giving concerts aimed at highlighting the richness of different forms of traditional music.
